This is a tutorial on how to create caustics for 3ds Max using mental ray. It covers the materials, settings, and a hastily put together glass to test the caustics on. I hope its sufficent. what kind of preview image is that, that doesnt contain caustics?

I probably should have fixed the title, it was supposed to be on caustics and GI. The picture was supposed to show GI on the sphere.
